- Fuel is average. Nice handling van. Smooth and quiet ride.
- I have had a great experience with my Chrysler Vans
I am on my second caravan. My 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan Se is still running well. with 250,000 miles on it. Original Engine. One new transmission. Changed out normal parts. 3 sets of tires. Have been very happy with mine. It always road well. Very stable in the wind at HWY speeds. 3.3l V6 handles well. Now my new 2004 is a chrysler Xi tour 3.8l V6. This also handles very well and smooth.
Fuel economy is average I still like the 3.3l V6 but the 3.8l V6 I do feel the power more improved. The room inside is very good. Caranvans handle well. Los Angeles driving is the real test for any vehicle. L.A. to Las Vegas the van handles well. Going up San Fransico Both my vans handle well. Who ever is thinking of one, don't go by car and driver or the other tests totally. They even got bad stuff on the toyota and hondas for something wrong and they are good vans as well.
Real owner here. with real results. I have been totally happy with both vans. I do like buying american. Most of the others are made here now also I understand. You will not be disappointed in these Dodge and Chrysler Vans. Get the better equipped van by the way. With the incentives they have. make the better equipped van a lot more affordable.
