- Excellent Comfort, Excellent Gas Mileage, Great Family Vehicle.
- RAndomly stop running & dodge will do nothing to fix van or compromise on solution to problem.
Purchased As New
I have owned the van for one year. I have absolutely grown to love the fact that my husband can have air, and I can have heat. I love the bucket seats due to added comfort & the stow n' go. I am ABSOLUTELY DISSATISFIED with the overall performance of the van as it completely stops running as you are driving it down the highway, interstate, etc. The van loses power, and you have no steering or anything. HUGE SAFETY RISK!! DO NOT BUY ONE!!! I have had the van back to the dealership several times, and they do NOTHING to fix it. I have filed dispute with Chrysler Dodge headquarters, and they do nothing to help either. I have attempted to file a lemon law dispute; however, you cannot file a dispute in KY unless the vehicle has been repaired four times. Since the dealer has done NOTHING to fix my van, I am stuck with it. My family and I risk our lives EVERYDAY riding in this van. Do NOT purchase a 2010 Dodge Caravan. Look on the internet, and you will see that people all over the U.S. are having this problem, and Chrysler Dodge does NOTHING to address this issue....read morehide

- Best vehicle I have ever had.
Purchased As New
My '08 Grand Caravan is the easiest handling, most comfortable, and
most dependable vehicle I have ever had. I love the stow-and-go seats and it is a real joy to take on a trip. I get good gas mileage and
I have no complaints. I only hope and pray that when I trade it for another lease vehicle, that I will get one as good as I have now. I love
it so much, that instead of looking forward to the termination of my lease, I am sorry to see the time approaching. I would keep it, however, I am a single woman and I know that as the mileage get high, that maintenance problems occur which causes high expenses plus the fact that I could be broke down on a road by myself and I don't have anyone to come to my assistance....read morehide

- Incredibly versatile with room to spare
Purchased As Used
I didn't want a minivan but my pregnant wife insisted and after taking our 2007 model (had 30K miles on it) for a test drive I was sold! Great driving position with captain front seats and the two rows of bench Stow-N-Go seats in the rear really impressed me. Dual air flow controls, great storage areas in the floor boards (if seats not stored) and the sense of sitting up high enough to see past most vehicles on the road ahead of us, were all great perks. We went on a 1200 mile road trip to visit my brother?s family and see their new home. The trip was a snap with my 18 year old son, 19 year old daughter and the newest addition to our family- our 15 month old daughter, my wife and I, plus all of our luggage, large ice chest full of cold drinks and sandwiches PLUS the house warming gifts AND the present for my brothers birthday, which was on the day after we arrived! Believe it or not, we still had room to spare.
We had the foresight to purchase a dual-screen DVD player that mounted behind the front seats headrests, and this single feature kept our baby daughters attention (and our sanity) for the entire trip! We had zero issues during the long drive, nor the fatigue I have felt with other vehicles we have had (an Audi and a Neon) on previous road trips. Our current 2nd car is a Dodge Neon (151k miles and still drives like new) and we are hoping to replace that with another Dodge Caravan! Our van currently has more than 61k miles on it and actually seems to drive better today than when we first got it. Obviously, I married a very smart woman :-}...read morehide

- Good runner, Good hauler, Comfortable, Reliable
- I hit my head on the tailgate when open and I don't duck when walking under it. I'm 6'1".

Bought a 2007, Grand Caravan 3.3 Liter with 27070 miles and exactly one year old. Now it's 10/09/2010 and I have 64361 miles on it and am getting 24.7mpg since I've owned it (37291 miles). On a 1500 mile trip with a light load it got 27.2 mpg. I use it as a car and to haul tools and stuff for work. The second seat was a bench. I removed it in 1 minute and stored it in the garage. The body has Stow-And-Go wells that are great to store extra, seldom used tools securely and out of sight. It's like having an extra trunk. I've had ZERO mechanical problems. I just replace gas, oil, tires, brakes, anti-freeze and light bulbs. If it crashed today, I'd go out and write a check for another one tomorrow. Best car I've ever owned in my 62 years....read morehide

- Quiet ride, easy visibility, comfortable seats, good cruise control, plenty of room.
- Transmission constantly shifting and searching for the right gear, due not like the CVT, its bad.
Purchased As Not Purchased
Rented this vehicle for a 1,000 mile trip. Overall great. The transmission is bad enough to make me think twice. When loaded, its constantly down shifting and reving to get speed up. At times, you can feel the vehicle lunging back and forth making you think something is wrong. Very bad design. Put in a 6 speed smooth auto. tranny in this vehicle and this would be the best van period....read morehide

- transmisson replacements, and gas cap pressure
Purchased As Used
I bought my 1995 /dodge Caravan SE in 2001, in 2004 i replaced the transmisson. Since then have had No Problems. I am concerned with the gas tank fumes, Always no matter what when i remove the gas cap there is alot of pressure build up. Ive tried every suggestion nothing seems to work, (keeping cap loose, tank full etc). No one seems to know what the problem is. Other than that, a periodic transflush, oil change, tires. Normal car stuff. I love my Caravan!" iT thinks its a truck"!...read morehide
