- Fact:Best minvan today and the future looks bright for Chrysler & Dodge minvan owners!!!
- Fact: No long 5 years/100,000 mile warranty on other brands like Honda or Toyota
Purchased As New
It just makes more and more sense to buy the best minvan on the market and that is the Dodge Grand Caravan! Think about it before you buy your next van! I can testify to its road worthiness, as I have now attained 15,000 miles on it without any hicups or problems. I am not worried one bit, because it's got the 5years/100,000 mile warranty which I can rely on year after year. Its a great minivan in looks, riding comfort, power to spare on passing and lots of features that I like that others don't carry!
The six speed tranny shifts smoothly and by shifting down going down mountains it hold the van back pretty well. Got the Satellite radio that makes long trips enjoyable. I like the body style and the comfortable ride. This van handles like a car with quick manuevers and very good suspension. The stow and go is fantastic for this minivan, to take in loads and stuff, without the trouble of carrying the seats out. Dual air flow controls, great storage areas in the floor boards (if seats not stored) and the sense of sitting up high enough to see past most vehicles. Dual-screen DVD player that mounted behind the front seats headrests are a must for kids to be entertained during long trips. I love the stability control and traction control here in the the snow and ice, keeps the van straight. Remote start is a necessity here in winter country to warm the van up and inside too. The back-up camera is an absolute importance for us in parallel parking which makes it easy and safe. The 30 gig hard drive for CDs is great plus navigation system where I cannot get lost and excuse myself for being late to my wife.
Lastly, having said all that, Honda and Toyota trails Dodge and Chrysler in the minivan race and will need extra catching up to do it!!!
Being the pioneer and the leader the past 30 years in minivan, Toyota, Honda and Nissan needs to copy the success of Dodge to even equal it, but cannot surpass its innovation! That's what is great about being the leader!!!!!!!
