- Comfortable, nice ride on open freeway
- Poor visability, unintuitive layout of controls
I recently had the opportunity to drive this car for a fewe weeks. (Enterprise car rental)
I had seen a number of these cars around and they looked real nice.
However, I am 6"3" tall and the sight lines from inside this car is atrocious. While stopped at a red light I have to scrunch my head down to look out the front window to see if the light has changed. The rear window is so small that you have a much larger blind spot on each side of the car.
Why Dodge insists on puttin most controls on stalks coming out of the steering column is beyond my comprehension. The wipers and as the turn signals are all on one stalk. The cruise control is on a separate stalk.
The basic model is underpowered and really does not handle that well.
One thing that I found particular annoying are the automatic lights which sometimes do not shut off. I turn the lights off, exit the car, hit the remote alarm and the lights go back on. If I don't go back into the car to manually turn the lights off again, they will stay on.
I would definately not even consider buying this car.
