- Insane performance with comfortable seating for five
- none- you know what you're getting into
Oh My God! I have been driving an '06 for several weeks now- I am a used car manager for an Acura dealership in the North Suburbs of Chicago, and this was a trade. It had 19,500k on it, and as you might expect the 20" monsters needed to be replaced.
This is the most fun I have had in years driving- and that's including MB AMG's, BMW M series, TL type S, you name it- it is thirsty but it is
an incredible sweetheart of a car that is as confortable as it is insane.
Great stereo, good Navi system, well-designed seats andd lots of leg room for my 6'4" frame, this is truly a manly car... no sissies here.
Just wish I'd had it longer......read morehide

- Love this car. Evil looking in black. Handles great. A nice ride.
- Needs automatic hatch release. Bad blind spots.
Even though we just bought a 2007, looking forward to the next one, if they can get this one away from me.

For a car with over 400HP I get 5mpg better than my Sable wagon w/ a v6 and less than half the hp.Not only is the power abundant but also useful in driving around the city.I also have a 20 y/o old Porsche and I believe the Mangum handles better than it.

- Very happy with the pep of the Hemi. It handles good at 150 was passing my buddies Posche.
- I'm a big guy, so the drivers seat is a little small.
I was the first person in Texas to own an '06 SRT-8 Magnum and it turned alot of heads. I have not been out run by any production car that I have gone against. I mean '06 Vetts to be included.

- Decent performance, can turn off nanny traction control.
- 15mpg average for my commute, hard to park.
I've managed to get 22mpg going 75 on the highway with the windows rolled down. With A/C on, it immediately drops to 20mpg.
Seats are a bit too wide, but comfortable. No memory for the power seats is just cheap and dumb.
A limited slip differential would help greatly in the rain and snow. Stick with the Summer tires - A/S option is weak....read morehide

- Good response and handles great for a 4200lb wagon
- Wish more colors were available
I love my 2006 SRT8, I had a 2005 RT and upgraded to the performance version. This car ROCKS!! I get compliments everywhere I go and enjoy driving this car. Being an owner of a Bracket Race Car, it is nice to have a fun and responsive car on the street to drive. Handles great.
