- decent fuel economy, LOOKS AMAZING, comfy
- little squeaks can be annoying
Purchased As Used
Like I said getting decent mpg (getting 24 hwy w/k&n drop in filter), it looks GREAT and my wife loves it as well... Little squeaks from interior can get a little annoying but otherwise its great! Leather seats are comfy, infinite sound is amazing and the 4.0 engine has plenty of get up... love it!...read morehide

- good power, 5 spd auto trans, mygig nav + sirius, 20" wheels
- with 20" wheels comes a rough ride, not a big fan of chrome, awkward field of vision
got it fully loaded ($33K sticker) for $26K. i've had this for almost 3 weeks now and so far no problems. after 900 miles, i'm getting about 20.5 mpg with 75-80% hwy driving.
the radio/entertainment/ nav system is awesome. you can transfer upto 8 gb's of mp3 using a usb flash drive into the mygig stereo system. rip cd onto the hd. watch dvd's on the front screen while in park. remote start has great range, at least 400'. remote lock and unlock has poor range at 10' - 15'. has a 2 prong wall outlet in the rear seats as well as a/v inputs. slide out tray in the rear, although i wish that is slid out a little more.
you can't enter in addresses into the nav while you are driving. the ride is bumpy if you get the 20" wheels with the low profile tires. the side and rear windows are not as long top to bottom so it takes some time to get used to looking out there and finding what you want to see. the wheels and front grill is chrome, they should have made the door handles and air intake which are both black plastic and the gas door which is color of the body, chrome also. the side air intakes are fake, it is just glued to the side of the car....read morehide

- Good Looks, Great Performance and Handling, Good Seating Support and Comfort.
- Could use a little more leg room in both front seat positions.
It's fun to drive and I highly recommend it to anyone. However, at 150 miles, I experienced engine noise that sounded like the whole valve train was beginning to come apart. The dealer replaced 6 intake valve rocker arms and 3 exhaust valve rocker arms. The engine runs like a champ again. I like the look and performance of this vehicle so much that I could hardly wait the 5 days to get it back from the dealer. This vehicle is aggressive looking; not effeminate looking like most of the other small to mid-size SUV's on the market. The 20 inch wheels are a big plus....read morehide

My husband and I went down to the dealership to get a closer look on what the Nitro looks like and how it drives. WOW!We loved it ! We couldnt believe how great the price is for all the extras you get. Unfortunatly they didnt have the R/T 4x2 in yet and we want a little more get up and go...So we ordered one and we are looking forward to getting it in Janurary. Woohooo!!...read morehide
