2008 Dodge Nitro
There are 5 user reviews for the R/T 4X2 trim shown below
- Looks good on the road. Easy to drive and manipulate on close parking lots
- overall is made flimsy
Purchased As New
I purchased a new 2008 Nitro. The paint is peeling off the front and the fog light covers have both broken. Dealer said this paint problem is not a warranty issue and the light covers have been broken by rocks. I question both since the vehicle has not been on gravel roads.

Just bought a new Nitro R/T 4.0L, loaded including Mygig. I love this vehicle. I do not find the ride too rough, nor the brakes clanking. I have the 20" wheel package which does firm up the ride. I knew this going in, and I can live with that, just for the way it looks! The build quality is excellent, the paint is excellent, and it is extremely quiet inside. I have no complaints, and alot of compliments about the way it looks. It is very quick and smooth shifting, Kudos to Chrysler! If this is read by somebody considering this vehicle, consider Black, it is a WOW!...read morehide

- Interior and exterior design
I just got my nitro r/t 4X2 with MyGig Navi. and the whole family is satisfied. I like the look and power, my wife likes the price and my daughter loves the entertainment. When i test drove the r/t 4X4 i just fell in-love with it but sacrificing the off-road for entertainment is money well spent because the Navi edition has a complete entertainment you can ask for from mygig, to navi, to Sat., to mp3 hookup, to dvd (and all video format), to u-connect and so much more. To compensate for the 4 wheel I will be installing the exhaust system installed by California concept. The vehicle is everything i wanted and more from the 20' alloy wheels to 50 series tire to sunroof to 260 hp to ............to much to mention i cannot believe i fell in love with an American made car......................read morehide
