Purchased As New
Just purchased our 3rd Dodge Nitro. We love the roominess and macho looks of the Nitro. The Nitro has more than enough power even when I tow my motorcycle trailer. I didn't buy this vehicle to drag race like some reviewers. The Nitro is very roomy with plenty of leg room in the back seat too. Most SUVs this size cost $10,000 more than the Nitro. The price is why I rate the Nitro 5 stars, because you are getting more vehicle for entry level money. 20" wheels are now standard on all Nitros and just add to the looks of this vehicle. Get the Nitro loaded with leather and all the toys and you're still about 10 grand cheaper than a base Jeep Grand Cherokee, and just as roomy. The Nitro shares its platform with the newer Jeep Liberty SUVs. 2011 is the last year for the Nitro, but the Jeep Liberty will still be offered. The last two Nitros we owned were never returned to the dealer for any repairs. They both were super dependable.
