- Great Look, Nice Ride, Lots of Room, Large Trunk, Good First Car
- Battery Is Not In Motor But Behind Driveside Tire So You Must Remove Tire to Replace.
I just purchased this car on July 23rd with 15,000 miles on it and I'm very happy with the car. Has a nice look, lots of leg room and drives nicely. The car is a 4cy and could use a bit more power at times but for the most part is great. I really havent pushed it since I just got the car but when I have it goes just a bit slow feeling at times on take off when trying to punch it. Has a great stereo system with CD nice and loud. The only real issues with the car is the battery is located behind the driver tire so you must do a little work to get to it. The car key too has a chip in it which the dealer did not tell me so when I went to make a copy I found out the key was a dealer item at about $110 with tax. The key is $38, to cut is $10 and to program is $45. If you need an extra remote they are $55 plus $45 to program and taxes. I purchased two keypads off ebay for $20 brand new and the numbers matched so they were fine remotes costing me only $10 each which was a $45 savings that can be used toward the programming. I just found out that this was the last year of the Stratus and I must say I'm a bit sad as I love the car and might of thought to get another. I'm a Ford man at heart and never thought I'd buy a Dodge but its really a nice car I'm very amazed I love it so much I mean its a DODGE LoL. It gets even better I purchased the car like I said used but from a Chevy Dealer so I got a Dodge from a Chevy dealer and I'm a Ford man how ironic is that? LoL. Great car for the money.
