- 30+ gas milage, great look, roomy , traction control/abs saved my life this morning.
- low Accelration, side rear view mirror too small, engine make a bit buzzing noise at 27000 miles.
I was doing 55 mph on US route 1 highway in tropical storm rain when my left front tire hit a pool of water. There were cars to my right and behind no more than 50 yards away. Had there been no traction control, my car would have spun and I would have lost control. Since the cars around me were coming at the speed, they would have hit me at that speed! But thankfully, traction control kicked in and learned my lesson. It is a very safe car! The car has a big wheel base which provides great stability and quick response. I cant figure out how they can do that with providing great gas mileage. I have a ford Explore at home but I prefer to drive my stratus in rain. I am a full time student with 2 job and I drive about 70 miles a day and I get about 30+ mpg on highway/suburban Roads.
