This car is the Michelangelo of automobiles, sheer automotive perfection in every way. The performance is amazing, the handling is perfect, the F1 paddle shifting makes the car come alive. I had the privilege to rent one and lets just say that @ 140 in 4th gear this car had tons left. I can not begin to accurately describe the audio symphony that tickles the ears on the way to its 8500 rpm redline. It is nothing short of intoxicating!! There is nothing on this planet that compares to the feeling that driving this Ferrari gives I have never experienced a car that felt so balanced and nimble with power on demand. The F430's computer adjusts the handling enough to let you take the car to its limit but not over. Makes anyone feel like a true race car driver, all you have to do is select the suspension mode desired on the steering wheel, Sport for the faint of heart and Race for the enthusiast and you are off. My only regret is that now I have driven the F430 nothing else will compare and I will be left wanting from now on....read morehide

- No better Ferrari for the money, period. F1 transmission a must.
- Harsh ride on LA streets but expected.
I purchased a pre-owned 2006 for just under the original sticker price. This was a steal compared to what the first owner had paid two years ago. Titanium with black Daytona seats, F1 transmission and only 3500 miles. Needless to say this car is truly the perfect sports car. It does everything exactly when you want it to and makes me feel like a professional when I drive it. And the sound! I never listen to the radio anymore.
I honestly cannot imagine having or using any more power, braking or handling capabilities. To think that there are still faster cars out there is scary when compared to what I already have. I only knock it down one star because of the over priced Ferrari market. I would not have paid $70k-$80k over sticker just to own one new. I don't anticipate the value of mine decreasing very much from where I purchased it. Pre-owned is the way to go unless you have money to burn, your money was a gift or you just signed a multi-year contract extension. I worked hard for mine and prefer to only part with as much as needed....read morehide
