Car

by Ridoy (3/18/08)

I doubt anyone in this forum ever rode on this car let alone own one! A typical owner of this kind of ferrari has a net worth of at least $40 million so I doubt people of that caliber have the time to visit forums like these. Based on the fact that a Bugatti owner is worth at least $200 million in assets. I doubt anyone in this forum that provided a review has that kind of money. I can't describe the car because neither do I own one nor have I ridden in one. I have ridden in a porsche turbo, corvette z06 and recently Mustang Shelby so I am going to provide reviews for those.

Exotic car for a nauseous price

by Steven from Redwood City, CA (11/21/07)
Pros:Currently the most powerful Ferrari, futuristic looks, exotic feeling when going behind the wheel
Cons:Takes a few switches and knobs before "leting it out", hard to find, I even afford it?

The 599 GTB is currently the most powerful car by Ferrari. 620 hp sums it up! And when sitting in those sporty seats and pressing your foot on the accelerator, it's an awsome feeling! Plus you got to love the industrial-future appearance they put into it. And you have to love the fast 0-60!

But if you want a fast start, you have to turn on and switch a few gadgets first, which might take a few seconds. Plus the 599 GTB is a little differicult to find. And can you caugh up about $270k?

But besides the cons, this is one sweet car!

Sleek cruiser, blistering performance, does it all

by Baudhyayana from London, England (11/02/07)
Pros:Outstanding performance, smooth ride with a beast within
Cons:Not quite as thrilling as a F430 on a track, early models had glitches

I have been lucky to own both a F430 F1 and now the 599GTB. They are both awesome cars, but what makes the 599 GTB special is it can be both a silky smooth cruiser and a ferocious beast. The car has a luxurious interior and rides so well, with great steering. However, when you floor it, the V12 roar is sublime. The handling is also excellent. I can also dispel a few myths about this on the track. I attended one of Ferrraris courses on their Fiorano test track where we drove both F430's and 599GTB's. It rained the whole time. Yet, I have to say the 599 held its own well on the track, and felt very at home. By a small margin, the F430 had more thrill on the track, as the feel and noise was more visceral. Also you feel more connection with the road in a F430 with the engine blasting into your ear, whereas the 599 GTB has a more refined feel, and therefore a little distant from the tarmac on a track. However, on the roads, the 599GTB wins trumps down. I could easily drive across Europe in it. 3 hours was about the limit in the F430

If you can find one and if you can afford one, you gotta go for it. You will never drive anything like it.

Impress Whom?

by PracticalGal from Orlando, FL (10/04/07)
Pros:Gets the Chicks Looking and a great space at valet.
Cons:The price.

I don't own this car but had a ride. I just don't know about these cars. I am not sure what the owners are trying to prove in life with owning this type of vehicle. I guess because I am older now (having driven Corvettes and Mercedes 500 SLs in my younger days) I am just over this whole scene. Granted, with the price of this vehicle delivered, it's not an either, or thing with them. But it would be with me. I have more fruitful ways to spend a half a mil but on a car that you can't even have sex with.

My Ferrari Fiorano Rules the Srteet

by Kyle Menard( NHL Rookie ) from Winnipeg, Manitoba (9/25/07)
Pros:The interior is fantastic, and the speed is fenominal
Cons:the Price, brakes are not too good( a long time to brake )

I love this car its a smooth ride, and its a head turner on the streets its what i wanted. although it doesn't match up to my expectations and my other two cars.............Its good at the red light all the other cars know they're gonna lose but they try anyways.......the car was quite expensive but i like the way it looks and other than those things that i mentioned its good............................

needs a snow plow kit,and a goose ball hitch

by Todd from MN (9/17/07)
Pros:very fast on a straights not to good trail riding
Cons:not good off road, poor racing 1/4 mile performance

we took this car off road in the gravel pits did some cliff jumping very costly to fix,the v-12 it slightly overkill in the winter can barley run 130 in a blizzard and there is no snow plow option, doesnt pull a trailer very good, does pull my 45ft boat with no problem, gets stuck in wet areas to easy no ground clearance, tore off the oil pan on a stump once
