- Good Torque, nice body lines, good brake fell, very fast!!!
- mpg, parking in a home garage, backing up is a chore but a pleasure in the same if you like driving
If you want a truck with power, speed, towing and handling of a car then the truck you want is a Ford F-150. Now I have had the pleasure of owning a 2007 Chevy Silverado as a good luck present to go to college. It had a 5.3L 315bhp V-8 and it was a nightmare I soon hope to forget. I might have a the new GMT-900 platform but the ride was to harsh, even for a truck. If your a lead foot like me you'll hate this truck, its very sluggish low down. And the fact that I'm 16 the insurance cost 420/month. And the worst part came after 4 weeks of owning it, here came a cam-shaft failure. Then I traded to a black Ford F-150 XLT ext cab 2wd with a 5.4L 300bhp V-8. Not only was it cheaper(a little over 3,000) it looks better, steering is nice and tight, and the best part is that it was faster! Insurance now costs 300/month and gets more MPG, has a bigger tank, did I say it was fast. No really at the track my truck is 1.2 quicker in the 1/4 then my best friends Honda S2000. The track I was almost 2 secs a lap slower, but is a truck. If I get better tires I could beat him. To some it up its a great investment if you use trucks for work. For gear heads like me, this truck is fun
