- good looking truck.
- Engine noise when idling, Ford & Dealer says noise normal. really? Buyers buyers be carfull
Ford Customer Care yeah right! The dealer thinks engine noise might
be from the 5.4 liter having a engine plastic value cover gasket that lets the engine knocking nise come through (They Think), so Ford Customer Care tells me that they are satisfied with that conclusion and if I have any more concerns I could take it back to the dealer,
guess what the dealer now believes that they are not able to do nothing for me. Ford Customer Care is banking on myself and other
owners to give up and get used to the engine noise.
Two weeks later I ran into a neighbor that happens to have a 2005 F150 with a 5.4 and he had the same prolbem, however he did not give up and made the dealer fix the problem.
Ford Customer Care needs to have pride. to date Ford is still giving me the RUN - A - ROUND....read morehide

- style, stance above other trucks, power
- stock intake/restricted breathing, speaker system lacking...but it's a truck
This is a truck, it takes lots of fuel to keep a large truck moving, if you want fuel milage, get a compact. If you want to sit up high on the road, have the ability to haul stuff, get this truck. If you want to race from light to light, get a mustang. If you like the safety of a big vehicle, get the truck. I love the FX4 package, never knew what it really was, but love the stance and the interior is great, looks almost like my mustang....read morehide
