This is my first Ford truck in many years. I bought this new and after getting it home discovered the clear coat was bubbled up in several places. Back to the selling dealership for repairs. I tried to get Ford to buy the truck back and give me an identical truck but they said "Not Going To Happen". Fine customer care! This dealership painted the truck 5 times and finally I told them to forget it. Took it to another dealership and a 3 day repair took just over 5 weeks. After that every time I would drive the Ecoboost in the rain it would try to stall. Took it to the second dealership 3 times and they said they couldn't find anything wrong. Then the transmission started to down shift for no reason at all. Reason I was given? The computer has to learn the transmission. Please, feed me another line of crap. Bottom line: The truck was never inspected at the factory and was never inspected at two dealerships before I bought it. With only 9,000 miles the truck is gone and good riddance. Ford, no wonder your customer satisfaction is bottoming out....read morehide

I needed a vehicle that was truly utility in all aspects. In the past 5 years I have owned two Jeeps, a Honda Pilot, Mazda 6, and Dodge 3500. Each vehicle was missing something. From towing to offroad, to comfortable travel, to a long daily commute, comfort for the family, the F-150 has all the options and fits all my requirements. I am a light footed driver and easily average just 1 MPG less than my Honda Pilot did and get a combined 19 MPG with mixed driving. I am 6 feet tall and find the seats far more comfortabe than the Jeep, Dodge Ram and as comfortable as the Pilot. The 36 Gallon fuel tank is a dream with one stop for fuel on an 800 mile drive. I believe this will be a vehicle I will own for at least the next 5 years. This is my first Ford and I am impressed. This is also more money than I have ever spent for a vehicle in my life, but thus far no remorse at all....read morehide

On the bumpiest roads, truck doesn't feel like it is falling apart. Very well made and lots of power and torque.

After reading on here people complaining about back pain caused from uncomfortable seats, misaligned bumper(s) and #$%$ paint, and a poor sounding stereo, I'm left wanting to ask a question.
Common sense usually dictates doing things like test-driving the vehicle BEFORE buying it, and also looking over the vehicle you're about to purchase BEFORE taking delivery.
I can't help but think that a test drive would've revealed the 'painful' driver's seat and the #$%$ sounding stereo.
Taking a quick walk around the vehicle before you drove off the lot would've exposed the crooked bumper and heavy orange peel.
So my question is this:
Why didn't any of you three perform any of these seemingly VERY COMMON procedures, BEFORE you signed on the dotted line, AND DROVE OFF THE LOT with your $50,000 vehicle(s)?
Even if you didn't discover the shoddy paint or crooked bumper when you initially checked out the truck or test-drove it, you could have walked away from it had that been your choice, even AFTER signing the contract, as long as you didn't 'take delivery'- which is usually defined by driving the vehicle off the dealer's property after you've signed the purchase agreement.
Matter of fact, it's actually the buyer's RESPONSIBILITY to thoroughly check out the vehicle before driving away with it, and at the very least, making the dealer aware of any problems you find, and getting a repair agreement IN WRITING before you (again) 'take delivery'....read morehide6 out of 9 people found this review helpful.

- Pros

- Cons
- Poor paint quality

This is my third F150 FX4 in the past 8 years and I think this one drives the best out of all of them. I've had this truck for a month now and still love it and look for any reason to drive it. I love the styling of this truck, and I love the seats they a very comfortable. I really like the factory spray in bed liner it seems to be of vary high quality. The 3.5L V6 Ecoboost engine is a BEAST, I love this engine, it makes my old 5.4L V8 seem like a 4cylinder. This truck gets pretty good gas mileage I average 15.3 mpg city and 21.5 mpg highway. I also love the Sync system because I can use Pandora on my Iphone, which comes in real handy, since we dont have satilite radio here in Hawaii. One problem with this truck is the paint quality, the paint has very orange peal feeling. Another problem is that the door panels rattle when the stereo is turned up.
I would recommend this truck to anyone looking to buy a new full size truck....read morehide2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

This is my 4th Ford F150 and each one is better than the last one. The truck is roomy, proforms well when pulling my horses around, gas mileage is good and the body styling is killer. The 4X4 is really good as well and it gets me around our ranch with ease.
Next up, Fords F250. Time for me to step up and Ford is the only way to go....read morehide3 out of 3 people found this review helpful.

This could easily have been a 5 out of 5 star review, but warranty service wouldn't do anything for me and Ford customer service told me too bad. If you are 6 feet tall or taller don't get this truck as you will suffer with back pain. Now I'm stuck with a $50,000 truck that I can't drive. The bolsters cut into your sides and force your back into a weird arch. I might get an afermarket recaro but that 3g's per side. Ford interior design should be ashamed!!!!...read morehide

- Pros
- Nice King Ranch interior.
- Cons
- Crooked bumper, damaged paint on driver rear side.

For a 50K + truck, the quality is poor off the assembly line. This was my first Ford vehicle. I purchased Japanese brands (4 Hondas, 1 Toyota, 2 Mazdas, 1 Mitsubishi) in the past with much better initial and overall quality. The F150 rear bumber was misaligned and the exterior paint was damaged during installation at Kansas City plant. This is my first and last Ford vehicle. I will purchase any brand but Ford for my next vehicle. Since brand new F150 had to be left at dealer for repair work, I am out of a vehicle. Ford customer service rep or dealer will not provide rental car while F150 is at dealer. This is frustrating since I bought a new car to not have any problems....read morehide

My company work truck a work level 2012 dodge 5500 base a system that would put ford to shame!...read morehide
