- The Biggest pro for me is the fuel economy. I am averaging 30.5MPG.
- The ride can be rough. Their isn't much room for anyone who is over 6ft tall.
One thing that I find as a PRO, that may not matter to others is the
fact that the manual transmission is much smoother to operate compared to other vehicles that I have owned. The interior is plain which is just fine for me. If you like fancy gadjets and other things in you truck then this Ranger is not the truck for you. - it has the best overall fuel economy it gets more mpg in city and in highway
- 4wd sticks a little
i think the body style is very nicely built and it runs like a dream , but sometimes when shifting into 4wd it sticks a little but possibly can be fixed

- new alighnment spec makes it veer to the left and hop on bumps
I had a 2004 that had a perfect alighnment and drove excellent but had a defective manual transmission the manufacturer would not replace. I had to use the "lemon law" to get my 2005 that seems to be fantastic but the manufaturer discontinued a "camber adjustment part" in the assembly of the truck at Twin Cities Assembly Plant.
Now my 2005 has a veer to the left and left hop when going over bumps that the dealer can't seem to varify even with the proof of an alighnment spec showing the descrepency.
I have no plans to purchase another Ranger!...read morehide
