Purchased As New
Purchased new - wanted a vehicle for gas mileage. When we took delivery, (vehicle was traded from another dealership) we noticed "waves" in doors, inner door panels were loose and floor mats didn't fit. Within a few days we noticed that the clock kept on resetting, mileage was way below as advertised and My-Touch didn't work properly. We were told that Ford was working on a software update. Could not ever use "hands free" calling. It took almost 5 months for Ford to update software. After update car got worse gas mileage. Last week we brought vehicle back for latest software update (recall) - the one that is supposed to improve gas mileage, we now get even worse gas mileage. We are now getting around 32 mpg! Numerous problems continue with fit and finish - molding on rear passenger door keeps on falling off. The worse thing of all is Ford's attitude toward our problems and concerns. After owning probably 30 Ford vehicles including a new F-150 purchased just before the C-Max, I believe we are done with this brand. Sorry Ford! Contacted BBB for Lemon Law. BBB denied claim saying that we had to bring the vehicle in 3 times for the same concern even though the work order for the software issue was open for 4 months.
