Just an awesome car for the price, we paid about $26,000 out the door.
I am incredulous when someone says they traded their C-Max for a Prius -- this is like sending your steak dinner back and asking for a greasy hamburger instead. The only area where the Prius trumps the C-Max is slightly better fuel mileage, otherwise the Ford is a superior vehicle
We have about 2,000 miles on the car and so far it is the best vehicle I have ever owned, including the Lexus RX330, Toyota Highlander, MX-5, and others. Zero problems to date and average fuel economy has steadily increased up to 41 MPG. On recent tanks we're getting 45 MPG or so as the car breaks in and we re-learn old driving habits.
Long-term reliability is a question mark, but Ford warrants the hybrid bits for 8 years/100,000 miles so we're not worried.
