2005 Ford Escape Hybrid User Reviews
- $6,836 - $7,315
- No trim specified for this review
- Good Fuel Economy, Cheap to Fill Up, Range around 340 miles
- 4 cylinder, small, drives like a small car
Purchased As New
The best car I've ever owned. Took a while to get used to the 4 cylinder engine. We do get great mileage on the highway - around 29 mpg but only around 24 to 26 mpg in the city. I think the reason they rate it 33 in the city is because the gas engine does shut off when you stop and start. You can actually drive down your block on Electric and never gas kick in. It's like driving a golf cart.
The only problem we had was that the AC went bad on us, but it was under warranty and fixed for a $50 deductable.
