- Excelent fuel economy!
- Not enough storage space. (Sunglasses, coins etc.)
With over 7000 Miles, I have been averaging between 31 & 34 MPG. That is a combination of city & hwy driving. The MPG graph monitor helps to train your driving habits to be more efficient.
It handles great, especially in wet weather. Better than my front wheel drive mini van.
This car is more than just transportation. It is a fun to drive toy!
It is the first Ford product that I have ever owned. I couldn't be more pleased!...read morehide

- Realistic 26 to 28 MPG overall. Extremely quiet.
- Hill climbing ability moderate at best.
Recently bought new. Lacks some of the nice convenience features, e.g. garage door opener holder, eyeglass holder. Equipped with functional GPS, easy to operate, but requires CD's to operate, which ties up the CD player unless you get the 6 CD changer. Also, can't get factory satellite radio and GPS function, it is either/or, which is a bummer for us who would enjoy both. However, the ride is very comfortable, and handling is very stable for its size. Acceleration is more than adequate. The transition from electric to hybrid to engine works flawlessly, and is undetectable from the feel of the car; the only way you know is to watch the on board computer or the engine tach. I'm very pleased overall....read morehide

- Great Fuel Economy, Good Looks, Cheap Price
- Can't go off-road, ford reliability
This is a great hybrid. It has a better gas mileage than the RX 400h and the Highlander Hybrid and costs thousands less. Car is smooth and quiet. It feels really quick and seems faster than the regular Escape. I recommend this car for anyone who wants a suv with great fuel economy.
