Bought this car at 102K ran great for the first 4 months then we decided to go to Detroit for a few days to see the Redwings play. The day before the game my car broke down on the highway and would not go into gear. I had to turn it off and back on to go into drive and it would go about 200 ft and stop moving again. Did that until we finally got off an exit to a gas station (reminding you this is Detroit) Not a good place to break down. Called ford and they called us a wrecker which took my car to a ford dealer somewhere in Detroit then we had to get a cab to take us to the airport for a rental car because there were no other rental car places open at that time. We had to pay $70 for the wrecker, $80 for a 45 minute drive with the taxi driver telling us his war stories with a gun on his lap and $102 for the rental car for one day....luckly we were still able to see the game but was hard to have fun when your worrying about what your next expense is going to be or how you are going to get your car home 3 hours away. Finally got home and found out at 117K miles my car needed a transmission put in for about $3600!!!!! Even the ford dealer said that should have never happened yet NO ONE would back what they said and I still ended up having to pay for it! BS! Had to call another wrecker to pick it up for $250 and spent $1500 on a transmission and labor at a local car dealer by us. I was without my car for 3 weeks! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!! Thanks Ford!
