I know people rave about Sync but mine continues to dump my address book which I have to reload every day. Also you can't Sync if the car is going over 3 mph ! which makes it impossible for a passenger to work with it while moving. I have 16K miles. 4cyl., FWD. On a recent drive from Cincinnati to St. Louis I got 30.6 mph on cruise at 65 mpg and 29.4 mpg on cruise at 75 mph. In spite of the short wheelbase the ride was better than expected. Usually I had to get out and stretch after four hours in my '05 Altima but went six in the Escape. Acceleration was more than adequate for merging and passing with enough in reserve. I'll write a review after this winter in Ohio. I have driven extensively with FWD, RWD and part-time 4WD having owned both a Jeep Wrangler and Cherokee. I'm curious to see what the Escape with snowtires will be like.
