I traded my Ford Fusion in for a 2012 Ford Escape. I like the Escape over the Fusion because I sit up higher & can see whats going on much better. My Fusion was getting 27.5 MPG & my new Escape is getting 25.5 MPG in the city of Fort Myers, Florida. Also the Escape is built in Kansas City USA.

- Pros
- Fuel mileage is good.
- Cons
- Engine noise.

Lots of zip for a 4 cylinder. Six speed transmission shifts well. Good fuel economy. Like how seats fold down in back. Sporty looking on road. Have to use sun visor most of the time as there appears to be too much dash glare from the dash. Seats not that comfortable and cup holders are awkward for driver to access. Engine noise is excessive....read morehide

- Cons
- None that I can think of!

I love this car! From the heated seats to the back camera, this car is perfect. My mom and I were in a bad accident last year that should have been fatal for the both of us, but this car is so sturdy, it saved us both. It was totaled, but we went back and got the same car!

I purchased it as a certified used car. It was so plum that it was on the showroom floor and I said " that's the one for me". It was a corporate vehicle so you know it was well taken care of and only two years old when I purchased it. Low mileage. Luv it. Its great in the snow and has great lines. Looking to turn in for a newer one!!!...read morehide

- Pros
- Roomy, reliable, and very easy to drive
- Cons
- Folding down rear seats is a struggle

This is my 3rd consecutive Escape and I've yet to find anything better for the price. It could be a bit more sleek and be a little quicker but overall this is a great vehicle priced very reasonably. You won't find a better compact SUV.

- Pros
- styling, room, mpg, ride
- Cons
- black interior

Best vehicle that I have ever purchased. 23mpg in city, 32-33 mpg on open road. Ride is great, driver side power seat is a plus as the rear view mirror' s anti reflection. All instruments are within easy range. I have no problems with this vehicle. All I want, All I need.

- Pros
- Tough, Capable Suv
- Cons
- Tight in back seats, basically overworked fusion engine, 22 MPG

Good overall car. A little late on power (and sounds kind of like a weed-eater when you press it hard) but is a fine overall car. If you are looking for just space, then this is almost the same as the fusion. 22 MPG isn't for hyper-milers. I rented this for a few days and wouldn't mind doing again....read morehide

- Cons
- transmission when cold at first startup will not shift with out surging.

We traded a 2003 GMC Envoy one of the best trucks that we ever owned in on this Escape. My wife wanted a more compact SUV that had better driver vision to the back and sides and a newer vehicle. After enjoying the comforts of the GMC and going to her Escape Limited we are very impressed with the comfort, ride, power and gas millage. the fit and finish is outstanding.I would recommend this vehicle to my brother....read morehide
