- Road noise; fuel economy
Purchased As New
I purchased mine new 7 years ago. A very stable, comfortable road car. It is easy to drive and park in town also. The features are at hand and convenient ( gauges, radio, cruise, etc). It truly seats 7 adults comfortably with luggage. The power rear seat is really convenient when hauling larger loads. The center seat also lays down so you can fill up a cavernous storage area. You don't purchase a 5000 lb vehicle expecting good fuel economy. Still, the 5.4 V8 should do a little better that 13.6 city and 17 highway. These are actual after 95,000 miles and not just EPA estimates. My only complaint is the road noise which is from tires and can vary as different tires can reduce it , but is a little irritating. I am considering buying another just like it. I have not ridden in a new one and the road noise will be the deciding factor.
The comfort and reliability of the vehicle keeps me coming back and the road noise pushes me away. Other oservations from owners about the road noise would be interesting. Still a great vehicle.
