- My Touch is terrible, computer system is faulty, small driving compartment
Purchased As New
Gas mileage is fair, in the winter it only gets 15 mpg, summer about 20 mpg. The drivers compartment looks big but is small. The seats are uncomfortable. I drive a lot and after an hour I am squirming in the seat. The seats are too short. There is little storage in the front compartment. They have a cup holder built in at the bottom of the door, seriously! It would be better to just have it one long compartment. The computer system is awful. The computer is constantly changing settings. The enterainment system will change when I am driving none stop. I spend more time looking at the dash and controls than out the window. I hate the cruise control. It takes me 5 minutes to change the settings, while driving, again looking at the dash instead of the road, turn the car off everything resets and I have to reset everything again. The doors will lock by themselves. The car has given me a black screen, where it won't start and everything is black. Ford says there is no problem. There is very little space. I now have to have totes to put my stuff in. Other vehicles have built in storage in the rear. The blind spot lights are always going on and off for no reason, making them unreliable. The air conditions seats do not produce any air. This is the worse vehicle I have ever purchased. I am now researching an SUV non Ford. Prior vehicles have been GMC Jimmy and Buicks as comparison vehicles.
