2011 Ford Explorer User Reviews
Limited FWD shown
- $20,292 - $31,506

- Comfortable ride
- HORRIBLE in snow. ZERO Traction on slightest incline
Purchased As New
The 2011 Ford Explorer is a good car, UNLESS you have to drive in any type of snow. I mean even a 1/2" of snow and a 1% inclined hill, and you are dead in the water. If you leave the Active Traction Control on, you go NOWHERE ! If you turn it off like it says in the manual, you eventually get up that hill, but with about half your tire tread burned off. SO, bottom line, if you drive in ANY snow, do NOT DRIVE the Ford Explorer !!!
