- Great looking and fun to drive!!
- fuel economy sucks... very pricey for a Ford
Purchased As New
I have fully loaded limited with the terrain management and all the extra safety things like blind spot monitoring and whatnot. The terrain management is completely WORTHLESS!!! I stopped using it because it doesn't do a thing in the modes its supposed to...avoid the added cost of at because just the 4WD alone works very well in snow, rain, sand, and rocky terrains. I LOVE my blind spot indicator and back up camera...the crash warning thing is nice too, but can scare the crap out of you the first few times it goes off. Fuel econ sucks, but most SUV's do, so I didn't expect any different with this one. Overall styling of the vehicle is pretty standard, and looks like most of the american limited SUV's. Smooth ride, and drives like a car, not a truck like my 2002 Explorer, which is a huge plus!! I live in a hot state, so even though my truck is only a year and a half old, it has already needed a new battery, and needs new tires as well...the factory tires it comes with are pretty much junk, so go for the goodyears and hopefully they will last a bit longer than 40K miles.
