- car jerks and makes grinding sound
Purchased As New
I bought my new Ford Fiesta in January 2012.I loved it dearly drove smooth and quiet excellent on gas. Then comes in 7 months later with 18,000 miles it starts jerking when taking off going into 2nd gear. It does it in turns,on inclines while yielding and almost got hit from behind because car wouldn't go. I have took it 3 times to get fixed. They keep telling me nothing is wrong with the transmission or the car. Saying it is the kind of transmission and it is normal. I say how is it normal it drove perfect when I test drove it and for 7 months and now it is jerking gears make grinding sounds and it is normal. I cannot believe how Ford thinks this is alright. This was my first Ford and will be my last. Right now I am stuck with a car that drives like a piece of junk. I hate for anyone to see me leave the it jerks. I am want my money back so I can get a real car. I called Ford and said they would get back with me and they haven't. This is a lemon and I will be putting lemon stickers on it as long as I have to drive it! I don't see how I could get a trade in on it. When someone gets killed from their Fiesta stalling I guess then they will have a recall on it. They sent me a letter telling that the Fiesta and Focus both have the same transmissions after 2011. SO GOODLUCK TOO YOU IF YOU BUY ONE!!
