- good fuel economy, fun to drive
- tires are tooo big!! horrible material for front wheel wells, jumpy transmission at low speeds
Purchased As New
I have just purchased my fiesta in february 2012 and got the liberty to test it out right away during the winter season. I live in the mountains and there is snow.... Me, thinking that this is a common condition for lots of fiesta owners was horribly mistaken. The material in the front wheel wells is a textured fabric which attracts snow, and does not let go of it no matter how much you drive. The wheels are too big and once there is snow in my tires( literally 5 mins after driving) my wheels dont turn completley, and ice pokes into my tires if it has not been parked with the tires perfectally straight. there is about an inch of space in my wheel wells even when its dry. Ford does not see this as a problem and will not do anything seen as how i am the "first person ever" to mention it. Look into to more reviews about fiestas if you will be needing to drive in snow!!!!! now im stuck with this car for atleast 5 years and i cant drive in the snow... lovely, better move where its dry all the time!!
