- Great fuel economy. Great visability and lots of leg room.
Purchased my Ford 500 in 2006, Most comfortable car I've ever driven. Car has great visability, front and rear seats have lots of leg room. Very stable on the road, brakes quite, Have 45000 miles on it with no major problems. Key flob died so had to replace it. If Ford keeps making cars like this one they will beat Toyota....read morehide

- Fuel economy good, tons of room, comfortable seats, Value, value, value
Nice ride. The 203 HP engine is enough power with a six speed trans.
Torque steer when accelerating fast and engine noise prevelent.
Huge interior space, back seat and trunk. I thought the ride was good.

- Spacious, comfortable back seats. good instrumentation, and good fuel economy
- no real cons discovered yet (6 months).
Unbelievable amount of leg room in back seat. Very comfortable rise for front and rear seat passengers.

- Great ride, conservative but still great looks, handles very well
- could use more of a soft fabric on door panels
Had a Bonneville and was looking to update . I was very disappointed on the comparable new models till we tried a 500. The ride is great as well as the roominess.
HP could use a bump up but not at the expense of the MPG.
Since seeing the new " 08 Taurus" I am sure glad we opted for the 07' 500.
The styling on the "08 Taurus", leaves alot to be desired, along with the drop in MPG.
Why do all the new Ford models have to look the same from the front? Kinda the same way all the Pontiacs started looking the same....read morehide

- Great car, great economy 30mpg with only 500 miles on it, most comfortable I've ever owned
- Dash reflection in windshield is distracting
Purchased my Ford 500 in 2006, Most comfortable car I've ever driven. Owned two Ford Tauras wagons in the past and they were great cars, but nothing compared to the 500. Car has great visability, front and rear seats.

- I bought my FWD five hundred a month ago. This car has luxury, good gas mileage.
- Brakes do make a little noise.
I took the 2006 five hundred for a test drive. By the way I do alot of driving. So I know what to look for in a car. Brakes, traction, and speed. This car can take off.and still sound great when you come to a quick stop. So far the gas mileage is good. I like the features it has. for examp; How many miles to empty, point of destination,6CD changer, and bilingual info on cd reader. This car has alot of room and extras in the back seat as well. console in the middle to hold drinks and more. I LOVE this car. I hope it will last me a long time.

- Handling, Braking, Built like a tank
- Mechanical Integrity
I purchased the Ford Five Hundred Limited from the local Ford dealer in October of 2005. I had very high expectations for this vehicle. For approximately one year, I brought the vehicle into the service department for each of the scheduled fluid changes and other recommended services. In November of last year, the information panel stated that I should take the vehicle to the service department. I then found that a valve ring has malfunctioned and a new engine was needed. I about croaked at this news. So, the dealer took 30 days to complete this work. I had to rent a car so that I could get to work, but the warrantor would only pay for three days rental, so I was stuck w/ paying for the rest of that month. Once I drove the car away from that lot, I began to notice an oil leak. Upon taking the car to a trusted mechanic (not the dealer), I found that a gasket had been incorrectly installed, causing the oil leak. I have also replaced the brakes. Now, I am fighting problmes w/ the CV joints and the famed "Pirelli" tires wearing out. With the way the dealer chose to treat me and the (lack of) quality of this vehicle, I recommend that the prospective buyer rethink purchasing the Five Hundred....read morehide

- A great road car. Drove from NC to Denver and gas was 29+ traveling at 70 mph average
- Driver left leg gets somewhat cramped but, seat adjustments compensates
This car will be one that is sought after in years to come. The last 500 and a six speed trans. "last of its breed" Buy it you will not be sorry!

- Passing power, room and comfort, trunk space, ride
- No bodyside moldings, bland exterior, handling, engine noise, transmission sometimes rough
Bought the Five Hundred because it had the most room of any front drive domestic sedan. Overall it is a decent car with lots of trunk room, plenty of front and back seat room and comfort and has enough power with the 3.0 engine. A few annoyances have surfaced though. The transmission sometimes hesitates when I need more power and the engine makes it'self heard when attempting to pass or exellerate. Fords' decision to cheapen the exterior by removing the bodyside moldings was dumb as it not only makes the car look bland and ungainly but it leaves the doors totally unprotected from dings and dents. Also the tall body and stance sometimes makes this car feel a little tipsy in the curves....read morehide
