2006 Ford Focus

- Has lots of room
- brakes squeak
Overall we like the car very much, but it has a squeaking break problem that ford tried to fix under warranty and couldn't. They said you would just have to live with them. We are now reminded at every stop sign how much we like the focus wagon and ford.

- Good Fuel Economy, firm handling, great power, smooth ride , quiet, comfortable seats, quality manuf
- Armrest too low, floor mats don't cover entire foot area
I have a 1995 Ford Escort Wagon with 162,000 miles on it and it still runs great and gets great gas mileage. I purchased the 2006 Focus Wagon to give my Escort a break and I could not be happier. It is much more than I expected in all areas and is also a lot roomier than my Escort wagon but, I still get good gas mileage (30 + mpg). No problems and very good craftsmanship (I notice every detail)....read morehide

- Fun to drive, great economy, good value.
- Seats need more lower back oomph.
Now on my second Focus. The first, a 2000 sedan now used by my daughter, just passed 100,000 trouble-free miles, and is still fun and economical and looks good. The second is a 2004 wagon which also has been great. Got hit head-on a few months back, and walked away with no injuries nor any next day aches. The car is back on the road, running super. Again, no problems, thanks in part I'm sure to a super dealership with a great service department. I have nothing but praise for the Focus, and I put on more than 30,000 miles a year....read morehide

- Good gas mileage
- 6 alignments and 3 sets of tires , fuel pump replced, 20 trips to Ford
It is a nice car if I could just find a Ford dealer that knew how to repair it.

- good feul economy, easy to drive
- history of frequent problems with Focus, brakes squeal when wet,
I actually have a 2002 version of this car and won't buy Ford again. It needed almost $500 in repairs before 36,000 miles but it was the 38th month so I had to pay. Rear wheel bearings should last longer than 34,000 miles.
