- Comfortable seats, MP3/CD player standard, Great cargo space, Euro design
- Rough ride over mild terrain, Little leg room in back seats, Fair fuel economy
Having only owned the car for a week, I can so far report that I'm enjoying the ride. The look of the car is very sporty and it handles well in tight turns/corners, however on mildly bumpy roads in the city, it felt like I was on a dirt & stone road in the country. The only saving grace was the comfortable seats, which helped dampen the impact of a rough road and sub-par shocks. The controls, dials and other features on the dashboard are easy to read and use and nothing looks too busy, although the sound system controls on the steering wheel shaft are a little awkward and the angle of entry for the ignition key is awkward as well. The cargo space in the back is a huge benefit and I've already hauled around a number of items that make you think you're driving an SUV or wagon. The cover that adds security to items in the cargo space comes standard in the SE model and is beneficial to the vehicle and adds a finishing touch; it can also be easily removed for larger/taller items. The passenger space in the back forces the driver or person in the passenger front seat to move their seat into a semi-cramped position so if you routinely carry more than one passenger besides yourself, you may want to opt for the sedan version. As for fuel efficiency, I'm not sure yet. I have driven it on the highway for about an hour and then a few kilometres in the city and I'm almost down to half a tank so I'm not quite sure if that is good or bad so you be the judge. It is a smaller car so logic would dictate that it is better on fuel than a larger sedan or SUV. Overall, it is a very "fun" car but probably one that you wouldn't take on a road trip for a long period of time.
