- Great handling response. 2.3L has some punch and its not too thirsty. Suspension gives a smooth ride
- No MP3 plug for ipod.
I just picked one up this past weekend. I test drove the SES model with an automatic transmission but the ST's ride and handling is superior. I was at the Chicago auto show and climbed into a lot of competitors vehicles but the Ford Focus just had a better feel.
The styling is excellent and turns a lot of heads. It's fun to drive again and not at the expense of style or fuel economy. Todays gas prices weigh on everones mind so when I went test driving vehicles the competitors had good milage but a cheap fit, feel and lacked a comforable driving position. My Focus ST averaged 30 mpg for my mixed city/highway driving this week. I am completely satisfied with this vehicle and highly recommend it to anyone looking. I think the reliability of the Japanese automakers may have been better in the past but that is in the distant path and is merely a myth these days.
Great Job Ford I think you've got a hit on your hands.
