- Fantastic handling, good fuel economy and build quality comparable to the high dollar eurocars.
- None so far - someone thought a lot before building this one.
This is a excellent car at a great price. I bought my SEL V6 after test driving most of the competitive models and what pushed me to the Fusion was the handling and drivability of this car. I bought the ABS (4 wheel disk brakes) and hadn't driven 100 miles until someone pulled in front of me at 65 MPH and I had to do a panic stop - handling - that was my #1 thought when I test drove this car and I am certainly not disappointed. That being said, I was also impressed by the build quality and the quality of materials that went in to the manufacturing. The beige leather interior on mine is plush and elegant which is what I wanted (I even went with a moonroof option) - if you want modern and sporty (like contrast stitched leather seats and carbon fibre look dash) the Fusion has that available too. The added SEL options are great and I thought were worth the money since I usually own cars for 8 to 10 years. The Ford dealer let me drive a SE for a week before the SEL came in and that was very well equipped too and had the sporty interior I mentioned earlier. Bottom line - this car is a high quality automobile and a better buy than the competition - you will not be disappointed. I almost forgot - the folks at the Ford dealership are top-notch and gave me the space I needed to make my decision.
