It took me 54 years to find the perfect car! I bought a 2007 Ford Fusion, with 36,000 miles, and there is no physical evidence or prior use by anyone. This car is built solid, with not a single rattle over bumps or hole in the road. I am getting an average of 29 mpg (city & hwy). The car is very roomy, loaded with extras, and very fun to drive! I purchased this car in 2007 and have driven around the city for the most part with occasional trips to the mountains of Colorado and Wyoming. Wonderful, solid handling and performance. Good on snow and ice. Good power. Not a single mechanical problem in the whole 4 years.

I got mine in April of 2007, and I'll be finished paying for it in April of 2011. Personally I would have liked it cheaper, but all in all I'm getting my money's worth. The car is incredibly easy to maintain, I fill the gas tank once every two weeks and the air conditioning works well, a big thing here in Arizona. But the engine isn't powerful, on a highway with a 65mph, everyone is passing me. I drive up to Flagstaff, which is a higher elevation, and the car feels like it is crawling. The only thing I don't like is the transmission. Holds second and third
too long. Have to let off the gas to get it to shift, so engine can stop screaming. After turning a corner, stepping on the gas to get going again, there is nothing and then finally it bangs into first. It should already be in appropriate gear after turning a corner and be ready to go....read morehide

My wife wanted a Camry and looked and test drove the Toyota and we were set to buy until we drove the Fusion just for hoots- game over- This has been the best car we have ever owned- Car now has 55,000 miles with no service work except oil changes- Just installed new set of Goodyear Response Edge tires- I just thought the car handled and rode good before- now it is better than when new...read morehide

Bought this car brand new in December 2006. By June of 2007 the engine had already been replaced because of a pinging sound that couldn't be repaired. Now, in Sept. 09, my A/C is out. Thank goodness for warranty!! I have been religious about oil changes, filter changes, getting it serviced. A car that's only 3 years old shouldn't be having this kind of trouble....read morehide

I have had my Fusion a while now. I have just over 50,000 miles on it. I have not had to repair a single thing. I keep the oil and air filters changed when they are supposed to and my car has treated me right. It was reasonably priced. It looks sporty but also looks like a family car. It is comfortable to ride in for long periods. Lots of head room. Great speakers. 6 CD changer with MP3 input. It handles well. I get around 26 MPG average. 450+miles per tank. All around a great car.
My complaints: It doesn't have a great turn radius. It is comparable to an Altima or Camry but it could be better. Also, you can hear the outside environment a little more than other cars in it's class but nothing bad enough to bother me. Just worth mentioning....read morehide

going on third transmission my dealer says i'm driving it to hard and accuses me of beating it! I'm sorry but its a 4 cyl you have to floor it to get it moving especially with a/c on. never had problems with tranny in other cars

I LOVE my fusion!!!! so happy with the purchase! everyone who rides in my car falls in love too!

very sporty, but has tons of room inside. Lots of trunk space and the fact that the back seats fold down makes it very easy to haul stuff.

The leather in mine is very sturdy, I have had my dogs climbing around in the back seat and it held up wonderfully.

I BARELY HAVE 1300 MILES ON MY CAR AND IT SOUNDS LIKE IT IS 7 YEARS OLD. GAS MILEAGE IS NOT GOOD ON THE CAR I ONLY GET ABOUT 16-18MPG NOT 24. I AM VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THE CAR FOR THE PRICE.
