Purchased As New
There are under 4K miles on the clock and I'm very happy I bought a Ford! I looked at the "Usual Suspects" out there; but was sold on the Fusion very quickly. I had 2 Saturns (RIP) before this and a Pontiac Sunfire in the late 90's (good cars but nothing like this one). It has a beautiful stance and styling for 2010; and the color I bought was Atlantis Green, which looks different in all shades of light and has drawn many looks and comments since I first drove it. I wanted a V6 with a spoiler but after a test drive of the I4 there was no need for the extra power! I love the exterior; and the interior is just as awesome. The leather seats are very comfy (and heated for Winter) and the "Moon & Tune" package is a must for anyone considering buying this car. The Sony system is fab, and the 6 months Sirius/XM subscription goes great with the sound! The handling is wonderful; and I love the feel of the ABS brakes all round. It also has traction control which will be useful in the North East Ohio snow falls! The different colored ambient lighting is also pretty cool. The voice activated Sync System is very cool; but I have yet to use a lot of its capacity and re-read the instruction booklet! Lots of info to absorb there; but worth the work! Love the hands free phone calls now on Bluetooth; and look fwd. to downloading my Ipod also. I do wish that the outside driver mirror was auto dimming also; but only a minor detail. Daytime running lights should be standard I feel, even though there are automatic headlights included. Maybe in 2011 they will be added. You do tend to feel every little bump in the cabin when the road isn't smooth; but when the road is good it feels like you're gliding on the surface. I really like the "cap less" fuel filling system, which is a fab idea. No more fumbling with gas caps! There are so many cool aspects to this car you'd really need to go test one yourself to see them all. Some people have commented that the stalk is too high on the steering column? It is a teeny bit high but no biggie I feel. Also some controls for A/C etc. are on the low side but will take little getting used to I feel. I did have to go in today with a loose weather strip on the bottom of the rear glass window which leads to the trunk; but it was an easy fix. There are 2 trip meters on the computer; and I like the "miles to empty" feature also. I am getting 32 MPG right now with highway and city driving, which is great. Overall I LOVE this car; and would highly recommend it to anyone reading this review! :-) I am always trying to find an excuse to drive it, and it puts a smile on my face every time. But hey, don't just take my word for it....try it yourself and see!
