I love the way the Mustang looks and it has great torque and HP, but I've always hesistated to buy one because I don't do Auto Transmission Sports Cars...that's for females and lame dudes who can't use a manual shifter. I've always heard that the Mustang 5 speed shifter has LONG throws and shifts kinda stiff, which seems to be typical of American Sports Cars anyways, with the exception on the new Vette. Hopefully, the '05 Mustang has a better, short throw shifter that is positioned further away from the dash board. The Japanese or Germans could teach Ford a thing or two on how to do a Manual Tranny the right way!!
