- Retro look, powerful engine
- Ride is rough at times, tight fit for back passengers
Purchased As New
I bought my 2005 Ford Mustang GT new from the dealership floor with 37 miles. I have traveled 50k miles since and still enjoy driving this beautiful pony. It has been to the top of Pikes Peak with very little loss of performance, but gains are noticeable closer to sea level (I live at 5k ft above). The interior and exterior are retro so it feels like driving an early 70s Mustang with modern features. This vehicle is not very practical for travel (especially long distances) with more than 2 people as the back seat room is almost non existent. The ride at times can be a bit rough but is never too punishing as the leather seats with the premium package are very comfortable. Powering this pony is a 300bhp 4.6L V8 and although more hp has been added as the model years move on, there is plenty of go under the hood. Even 8 years later I am still complemented on how attractive and quick this car is.
