- Hot Hot car. Great look and much roomier than prior years.
- Worry about the quality of leather seats. Had a small rip in one, but Ford fixed it quickly
The 2005 model is very very sweet!!! We love the retro look and so does just about everyone else we know. The pinstriping is hot. The convertible is easy to raise and lower the roof. Everyone stops and look when you drive down the road. Ford definately out did themselves this time!! We also love the added room. Prior models left you too cramped....read morehide

- No deals, speed limiter kicks in at 115mph @ 2700
After looking at a few euro convertibles, I kept looking back at the old 64/65 Mustang and wished for a car that was like that, but without the +40k price tag. Ford granted my wish with the 2k5. I have been asked many times how I like my Mustang and I have to respond that I dont like it - I love it!!!
If you have ever wanted a convertible and couldnt decide on what you wanted take one for a drive....read morehide

- excellent looks, very good highway mileage, 5 speed automatic is great
- price is a little steep, couldn't get one for MSRP
Have had more comments from other motorists about the looks on the car. Ford got this one right. From the peppy V6 to the smoothest shifting automatic I have ever driven, it is one great package, well worth the price tag. The top goes up and down smoothly and quietly and the comfort level is really nice. It isn't made for more than 2 people(unless there are small children for the back seats), but there is so much leg room that I can't put the seat all the way back and drive(and I am 6'2"). It is an absolute dream to drive and I actually got 29 miles to a gallon at 70 mph on the freeway on a recent trip....read morehide

- sound upon acceleration, seat comfort, appearance (real head turner)
- handling on sharp corners, odd interior material selections (door feels cheap)
Well its been 72 hours and 1,025 miles since purchase. I'm delighted so far. Seat is the most comfortable I've had in a car. Ample leg room...unless your in the back seat...sucks to be them. The sound it makes when accelerating is awesome. Turns alot of heads...almost all of them
I was looking for a convertible. Solstice wasn't available yet, some were too small, Mitsubishi Spider was more expensive, and foreign cars seemed way too expensive. So, off I went to take a test drive. Was happy my 6'4" frame fit in....usually a big problem for most cars. Sank into seat and was very happy with the feel of the seat. I was enjoying the seat while the dealer was rambling on about shaker this and shaker that. Learned later that was the sound system. Started it up. Dealer dropped the top...finally a convertible! Shifted into drive and pressed the pedal with the same pressure as I did with my previous car. The tire squealing seemed to unnerve the dealer. Oops. LOVED the sound the car made while accelerating.
All modesty washed away as I pulled into traffic. The growling of the engine and the wind through my hair... I was sold.
Yeah I bought the thing. Damn them!
Not really a Ford fan. I hated most of the Ford cars I have driven as rentals. So far so good though.
Ford could have made some better material choices on the interior to make it look a little less cheap in areas. Molded in color plastic? how ghetto. Would a little soft touch paint or softer plastic killed them? Door feels like something from a Festiva.
Bought this one with the heart and not the head and so far...the hearts been right on the money....read morehide

- I LOVE it all man
I just picked mine up, baby! Luckily, I was able to take advantage of the X-Plan pricing because I work for a supplier. But I had to canvass about 30 Ford dealerships before I found one that was willing to honor the X-Plan price. In DC they are selling for about 5K over MSRP. Anyway, I got black with the parchment interior and roof, automatic with exterior sport and interior upgrade, anti-lock and traction control, alarm, the whole sha-bang! My third and favorite mustan convertible!!!...read morehide

- My hobby is show cars (Street rods) and this car gets as much attention from strangers as they do.
- People (Men and women) are always stopping me to ask about the car.
Ford did it right! They built a fantastic car and kept the price right. My hobby is show cars (Street rods) and this car gets as much attention from strangers as they do. My wife hates it when strange women just start talking to me about it (like men don't do the same when she is driving it).
The performance was much more than I expected from a 6 cylinder (210hp). I know horsepower my street rod has 804. This thing has no problem eating the japanese tuners (well most american cars don't anyway). I just have to say I am VERY pleased with the Mustang....read morehide

- Very Flashy to look at, very comfortable inside, Shaker 1000 stereo system
- None I can find yet
This car is amazing. I had a 2003 hard top before and I can say that this is a much better ride than the pervious model. It isn't noisey like most convertibles that I have ridden in. It has a great look and it turns heads everywhere I go. It purrs when you crank it up and it is everything that one has come to expect of the mustang. I would recommend this car to anyone of my friends. If you want retro style and a great ride this is your car....read morehide
