- Looks great, love the convertible top, great sounding stereo, good speed
- MPG not nearly as advertised, cheap gear shift destroyed by spilled liquid, long front design
Overall, I love this car. It handles great, looks fantastic. It drives smoothly. The convertible cover is easy to open and close. The stereo sound is great -- it has an auto volume feature where it increases as you accelerate, lowers when you slow down. Love the metalic dash that came with my Premium package, and the black leather seats. This car turns heads.
Drawbacks: I get only about 18-19 MPG tops on average, and I'm pretty disappointed by that since it's not the 19-28 MPG that Ford advertises -- I'm going to the gas station about twice as often as I did with my previous 4-cylinder car.
The back seat is pretty small, but it's big enough for my 8-year-old daughter, my only rear passenger.
The cup holder abuts the gear shift -- I spilled a little Coke on the shift, and the plastic "plate" in there warped and cracked and tore off, and I had to get a new one. Also, this is a really fragile car -- if you bump the body even slightly, it will dent, and that large front corner panel is very expensive to replace, if you need to. I had to replace a front turn signal light after owning it for several months.
