I have a 2009 Mustang it is all I could ever want from a sports car. Great gas milage and good looks. People are always stopping me where ever I go just to look it over. I plan on buying another in 2014 but will keep this one forever.

My wife and i rented a 2008 v-6 convertable and was super impressed with it.With a 5 speed automatic it is very suprizingly fast as well as suprizing fuel milage,if we cruze at 70 gets 30 mpg even gets 27 at 80 or 85 mph.I have owned 7 mustangs and none of them come close to beeing as nice as this new bodystyle. This car is based on the lincoln ls ford 2002-2005 t-bird chassis, this is why this car is so much better than any other mustang in the past, these cars are twice as much as a mustang making it a great car for the money....read morehide

- Great gas mileage, I love the seats! It is an all around GREAT ride!
- none. I love it!
I love the bucket seats in my 09' Mustang. It was the best car investment I and my husband ever made. It is a Charcoal Grey V6 Convertible. My car has PLENTY of power, has excellent handling, a electric top and it doesnt make my wallet go OUCH at the gas pump

- Good mileage, comfortable driving position
- cheap black plastic interior, clunky shifter, cheap stereo
Our 2009 Mustang is a pretty good car, no doubt. The major thing that sold us was the $23,809 pricetag, a steal as far as I see it. For that price I can let go some of my gripes which are generally minor. Something that anyone will appreciate is the good mileage that this heavy 4.0L V6 powered car gets, we experience mileage in the mid-upper 20s even around town.
The base model convertible looks and drives great, the top is easy to operate and folds away securely. The back seats are not useable except for groceries or other things that wont blow away. We have had people back there before but not until the front seats are slid up farther than you would like for comfortable driving. Thats okay, we didnt but it for its backseat!
The 4.0L V6 is throaty and grumbles much like a V8. I like the exhaust sound too, sounds powerful. With 210 hp, this isnt the most powerful V6 but its pretty good nonetheless. In Hawaii the full selection of D-3-2-1 is appreciated for the many steep grades that other trannys with just d-2-1 or autostick cant cope with. It has a very nice engine brakeing feature that keeps your downhill speed in check even in 3rd.
The standard stereo sounds good enough but we get interference when we use the AUX feature with an iPod. We found the exact same thing to happen in our older Sebring convertible with the AUX but this one is worse. I dont understand how something that is physically plugged into the stereo can pick up interference?
The trunk is small but adequate for groceries, luggage and the odd bicycle wheel. One thing I would like to have seen is a gear position indicator on the dash where one usually is. Also there are some pretty ugly uses of very cheap plastic in the cockpit. The gear shift selector seems a total afterthought, it really doesnt even seem like it ws made to be a shifter- its very odd. The short shifter also gets in the way of the cup holders, i.e., you cant shift easily with drinks in the cup holders.
Overall I think this car is an outstanding value for a tad under 24K, it looks great AND its fun to drive....read morehide
