Bought a 2007 V6 in november of '09. Only problem i have had is with the shaker 500 stereo at altitude. Doesnt happen at lower elevations. Very odd. Other than that i love to drive this car. Handles great, is manual transmission and gets 28mpg highway. Seats are comfortable. Can be a bit rough riding but handles awesome in the twisties. This is a classic sport coupe and NOT a cruiser. You wont like it if you are into luxury cars. I'm not a big fan of plastic interiors but most cars have them now. I have the pony package and i think it makes the cars appearance much better. I really have no complaints about this car thus far. I think they are a bit pricey but i also think they hold their value better than some other cars....read morehide

don't know why anyone would buy a sport car with an automatic. The V6 motor is peppy. it will get out of its own shadow if you need it too. but take it easy and you can get 26 mpg. the looks are great I think. very comfortable ride, handles nice. you don't get all the high end luxury stuff but that is not why you get a sports car. The Shaker 500 Stereo system was awesome. The 2 subwoofers are place in the door, and will shake the whole car if you want it too. not a lot of passenger room for the rear, but you are riding back there....read morehide

This is the FIRST car I ever bought in my life and it is my dream car.
I always wanted a Mustang ever since I was little and saw what a REAL American Muscle car meant to the world.
It seems every year the Mustang is getting a more masculine feel; I've noticed because more women tend to prefer the older models then the new ones.
Honestly this car is amazing. The trunk space is phenomenal for a muscle car; I shop at Costco's and lets just say I am able to fit 3 LARGE boxes of groceries in the trunk and can probably fit 2 more if you put the back seats down.
The handling on this car is by far AMAZING; for the speed it reaches it is a very good car in a crazy city. I live in Dallas; and some people here are insane and you need to have a car with great handling to avoid the psychos with their trucks and SUVs.
The sound quality is wonderful; I have the 500 Sound System; hooked up with SYNC, which I thought was useless at first; but honestly SYNC is WELL worth it.
I have a Creative Zen Mp3 player and a LG shine cellphone.
LG Shine connects well with Bluetooth and the sound quality is surprisingly great. I had to move the microphone though towards me to get better projection of my voice.
I had to buy a "Line-In" aux input device ($10) so I can connect my Mp3 player to my car. You can connect it via the USB input and do all the voice command features; but sadly my Mp3 is not compatible at full efficiency and it is safe for me to do it manually before I drive.
I haven't used a Zune or iphone or ipod yet with my car; but I hear that it is a MUCH better experience and flows very well. Well the next 5 years I am bound to get an iphone; so I will wait and see.
The interior is GORGEOUS; defiantly has a warm/sharp feeling.
Rear seating is great; expect for the seat behind the driver; you really need to move the driver seat VERY close to the steering wheel so that person can be completely comfortable; but in the end put the smallest person in that seat and it ends up actually comfortable for everyone.
Value wise; you can't get any better than this. I got it at a great deal with lots of discounts; Ford is by far my favorite American brand for cars and always makes SOLID vehicles that will last you.
My family's experience has always been switching brands from time to time: Mercedes, BMW, Honda, Mazda, Toyota, Ford, Chevrolet
And now with my Ford; I have to say the Ford always lasted us the longest.
Ford is built solid; and is solid.
Nothing says more of a muscle car than a Mustang.
If you want this car and are debating on whether to get this or something else like a Camaro or Crossfire; look at which one gets more bang for your buck. And the Mustang gallops to the top....read morehide

- Looks, Handling, Performance
- Paint job, Engine reliabilty

Vintage looks, style and handling. Adequate gas mileage and better than average engine performance. The paint job on this car is poor at best. After 10,000 miles, a valve spring had to be replaced. Cause unknown but it was not caused by high performance driving. Lots of nickle and dime issues. Ford service and repair at the Dealership is inadequate....read morehide

- Great gas mileage, comfortable ride, roar of the engine
- no interior trunk release, handling curves
Moving from a BMW to the Mustang was a different experience but I am loving the way this car handles. Im a avid speed racer and love the roar of the engine. Handling curves isnt exactly what the BMW does but Ford did a great job with this car.

- Unique sporty look, great Shaker 500 system
- No trunk release, fueling problems
I love this car other than the infuriating fueling problem. The pump clicks off repeatedly when it's nowhere near to being full, so a fill-up that should take less than 5 mins. takes me about 20 - seriously. I have taken it to the dealer numerous times due to this problem, but the guy keeps telling me that although it's a known problem (with at least 3 people per week bringing theirs in for the same issue), Ford has no fix as of yet. Grrrr!!!...read morehide

- Awesome car ! I love everything about it. Quick, handles great, good gas mileage
- No trunk release, no leg room in back, although nice bucket seats in rear
This will be the car I keep forever! I absolutely love it. I bought an '06 solid black pony pkg, 5 speed. Great power, looks hot, good sound system, sooo much fun. A true joy to drive.

- Iv'e returned the mustang cockpit wave numerous times. Is this a cult thing or just a cool car
- trunk needs key lock and inside release button. glove compartment needs light.
My followup from October. Whata car. Gas MPG in traffic keep below 2000rpms during shifting. Do bad when shifting anything past 3500rpms. Car gets 26MPG on Highway, no shifting, cruise control on. Love this car put 4000 miles on in 2 months.

- Love the retro look, fun to drive, plenty of power, lots of aftermarket goodies available
- lots of dash noise and rattles, not great on gas mileage
This is my 5th mustang ('66, '90, '98, '00) and by far my favorite. All the others were V-8's but this V-6 has plenty of power. More hp than my '90 GT 5.0. Out of the box this one handles great (I have the Pony Package, which is virtually the same suspension as the GT) but an Eibach lowering kit greatly improves the handling (but with a much stiffer ride). A magnaflow muffler makes it sound more throaty. I drove the GT before purchasing and decided that the extra cost was not worth it. I have added lots of aftermarket stuff and the car turns heads everywhere I go. I love it....read morehide
