Purchased As New
I bought my mustang new in November fo 2010 and have been loving it ever since. I was surprised by the power of this V6 engine. The gas milage for a 300 horsepower engine is astounding. I have gotten 30 miles per gallon on long road trips, and I average around 26 mpg with everyday driving. I am a big guy at 5'11 and 250lbs+ and am very comfortable in the drivers seat. I only wish that the base model had a telescoping steering wheel. My only real gripe with the mustang is that the cup holders are right behind the stick shift, which probably wouldn't be an issue with an automatic but with the manual transmission if you have any drinks in the cupholders, you are constantly bumping your arm on them as you shift. I live in New Mexico and we have about 350 days of sunshine a year so the Mustang is a great car for year round use. The stability control has come in useful during those 2 snow storms that NM will get and is real simple to turn off when I want to spin the tires. Overall this is a great car and I couldn't be happier for my first new car. Someday I may work my way up to a V8, but this is a great entry car to the new muscle car wars!
