- a real muscle car, reasonably priced
- Cons
- ugly looking dashboard

Good fuel economy for a 5 liter car. In Manila where heavy traffic is a way of life the GT still average 6 KM per liter. a real head turner !

If you wish to spend 30 k on a car that a high school kid would drive , and have the money to keep this car serviceable, this car is for you. If you want a retro car that would be suitable for an adult, visit the Dodge dealer and be smitten by the Challenger SR8 , or buy a Camaro. The last Mustang I bought had the carpet worn through at 55,000 miles, The rest of the interior seemed to be of the same quality. The Engine gran okay , but the rest of the car seemed designed by former Yugo engineers....read morehide

It cracks me up when posters add their comments and have no idea what they're talking about. People complaining about the live rear axle have not done their homework. Here are the stats from MotorTrend's April 2010 report:
2011 Mustang GT
Figure 8 24.7secs@0.77g
0-60 4.4 secs @111.3 mph
Lateral Acceleration 0.97g
2010 Camaro SS
Figure 8 25.2secs@0.73g
0-60 4.7 secs@110.8 mph
Lateral Acceleration 0.92g
2010 Challenger SRT8
Figure 8 25.7secs@0.71g
0-60 4.8 secs@106.1 mph
Lateral Acceleration 0.92g
2011 BMW M3
Figure 8 25.1secs@0.74g
0-60 4.4 secs@ 110.9 mph
Lateral Acceleration 0.95g
The Mustang GT clearly beat all of the competition on the track in all categories including the World Class 2011 BMW M3. Doesn't look like that axle is any problem for this perfect pony car. And the base price for the Mustang GT is $30,105 - not $45K. The higher priced BOSS 302 has tons of upgrades from the base GT and may come close to that price, but it also has the performance to back it up - well over 1.0g Lateral Acceleration. The ante is upped even further with the Laguna Seca Edition. Please do your homework, before you post here. Mustangs RULE!!!...read morehide4 out of 4 people found this review helpful.
