This is probably the best of the three American muscle cars. I've owned a Camaro, and it's very difficult to see out of, and it's a bit too big. I drove a Challenger, and it felt WAY too big. This car moves very quickly, handles decently and returns acceptable gas mileage.

The huge issue I have with this car is it just isn't safe - at all. On some of these cars, the stability control will engage itself at random times, usually around 50MPH. When the stability control comes on, the car loses throttle response, and the car pulses the brakes. The car bucks, jerks from side to side, and becomes difficult to stop due to the ABS controlling the car. There have been several dozen incidents of this same issue discussed on different Ford Mustang forums (search for advancetrac incident caught on flight data recorder, or advancetrac incident). This is my first mustang i have ever owned, its a dark blue with a racer strip on the side doors. it is my dream car, its every thing i ever wanted. i can tell you when i pull up into a parking lot at a store i do get looks from girls but dirty looks from there boyfriends haha hey its not my fault ....ok maybe it is haha. however overall this car is a must buy and i think its the best yet...read morehide

My commute is 75 miles round trip each day, ~70 miles highway. The absolute best MPG I'm getting is 21-21.5. I was expecting more as my sticker said 31 highway.

I do hit some traffic, but not enough to get just 21.5 mpg...I get 19 with my SUV doing the same commute.

Acceleration is ok, but nothing to brag about and doesn't match its looks. If you want speed, go with the V8.

This Mustang is the best production Mustang to date sans the after market Roushes, and Shelbys. 412 hp out of the box- now thats what I'm talking about! Very smooth and powerful. The quality feeling from this Mustang is truly satisfying. That is to say that even though there are piles of after market add ons for it, it genuinely needs none of it. I love the fact that there are no fake scoops on the hood which in the past felt hoakey to me. Also, the clean tight fit of the rear spoiler is another great fininhing touch. I could drive this Mustang for hours unend, and am looking forward to a good road trip. I've owned my 2012 for 2 months now and am very pleased. Previous Mustangs are 1967 Fastback, 2003 GT Convertible....read morehide

This is a cool car to own and drive. It has ample power and it does have grunt. The only problem I found was a very stuff ride. I mean, you can feel every rock on the road. The transmission notchy, and some you you have to make sure that you are engaged completely. But hey! its a muscle car and that's what you get......read morehide

The 2012 BOSS 302 is the best car I have purchased in years. Over the years I have owned a BMW M3 and a Mercedes ML63 AMG. None of them can touch this. Names and MSRP mean nothing when when this is one of the funnest cars I have driven. I had the baffles removed, software updated and the sound and power is perfect. Just purchased a 2012 base V6, Candy Red Mustang, the first one Mustang I've every owned. The car has exceeded my expectations, from the styling, handling, fuel economy and off the line performance.
Its so much fun to drive, and is probably the best car that I've ever owned. I had the factory stereo system upgraded along with the speakers, otherwise everything else is stock. Ford did an excellent job in putting together a sporty pony car that comes together in a really great car. Now if I can only find more time and excuses to drive it!...read morehide

Great car, I have 10000 trouble free miles, It runs far better than any other v-6 I have owned, Comfortable ride. Im getting 30mpg on the hignway and 27-28 in city. I like the style and retro look. Great car for the price. I highly recommend this car

I have had my silver w/black interior 2013 GT convertible for a little over 1 month and have driven more than 3500 miles in that time period. Compared with my former 99 GT convertible there is really no comparison since this machine is so far superior in all ways.

It is much quieter and smoother riding despite the 19 inch wheels and that sound track is intoxicating more so than previously. The interior is light years ahead of the former model. I describe it as follows: it drives like a sedan, handles like a sports car and goes like a demon when I drop it a gear or too.
The 6 speed manual tranny is a joy to shift ,the clutch take-up is so effortless, especially with the hill holder feature, Thank you Ford for this marvelous v8 engine, it is a marvel of engineering with effortless power coupled with reasonable fuel efficiency, this is a dream come true.
I doubt if many Mustang owners will disagree....read morehide
