Purchased As New
I was anti-Ford for most of my life. But, after reviewing the new Mustang V6. I took a leap of faith. Best car decision I have ever made. Top reason I bought this vehicle. 305HP, 31 MPG hwy (I drive 20,000 miles per year, 85% hwy), $24,000 price, 1.9% financing through Ford Credit. 15,000 miles of sheer joy driving so far. Not one problem, super fast for a V6 under $25K. If I peg the cruise control at 70 MPH I actually get 33 MPG on flat roads. My only complaint is that the standard 2.73 gear is a little doggy under 3K RPM. I asume this is how they get the 31 MPG on the highway. If you punch it from a stop. It really acts like you have a turbo. It takes off like a "bat out of hell" after 3K rpm. I would recommend the 3.31 or 3.55 gear to anyone who wants a little more go from a stoplight. I will stick with the 2.73 for my awesome Hwy mileage. Great Job Ford!
