- 24.8mpg, 300+hp, and a smooth quiet ride.
- Factory speakers suck, car weighs 4000lbs.
Purchased As New
I've put over 6500 miles on my mustang and still love it. The engine is quiet on the freeway, there's no harsh vibrations, the ride is nice and smooth, and the car isolates the road noise VERY well. The factory stereo is decent, but plan on replacing the stock speakers for something that sounds like it isnt sitting under a quilt. The suspension is good and the car handles turns quite competently, but because the car weighs so much, it can be somewhat easy to bottom it out if you jump it across some railroad tracks. The electric power steering was new to me, but seems to work well. The 6spd trans is geared out pretty well, you can easily hit 100mph in 3rd gear.
