- Factory exhaust note, exclusive and seldom seen. .
- Old school feel and sound (that may actually be a plus)
Purchased As New
The Boss 302 sits in a class by itself in Mustang world... arguably the most collectible of all the late model variants, this car sounds, handles, accelerates, brakes and looks strikingly different than all the others, including the awesome Shelby GT500 which has more HP. You bring this car home from the dealer, get it up on a lift and immediately remove the pesky exhaust restrictors placed inside of the exclusive side exhausts. Suddenly, it's NASCAR time with the car popping and backfiring and rumbling in a way no other factory car sounds. Some may complain that there's no power seat, MyColor, upgraded sound system, but that's not what this car is about. If that's what's important, go for the Premium GT or Shelby, for that matter. This car is for the guy or gal that REALLY knows how to drive...understands the heritage of the '69 and '70 Boss 302's. If you " get that", this is your car and nothing else out there will quite do.
