- it doesn't need as much fuel as to say compared to a ford F150, or even some other cars.
- For a person with long legs such as myself, the passengers in the back will not have a lot of room.
I absolutely love this car. This is my ultimate dream car I have been waiting for. I have purchased the "Grabber Orange" color convertible. If you are looking for a Shelby that is in a color that is not often seen, i would recommend "Grabber Orange".

- Everything, so great I got one for my wife! Very Fun !!
- Non, only bad if irresponcible drivers get a hold of one.
If your wife won't let you get a motor cycle. Get this car! Same kind of excitement! (convertable) models.
Only Hybrid lovers will hate this car!
The problems with "Ford" is the Salesman are not trained and don't know the important selling points. I think they must get them from some kind of "Homeless" employment agencys.
Honda and Toyota saleman treat you like your not good enough for their cars. They start off with where do you work?? Can you afford it??
GM people try to act too busy, so please just buy it I have somewhere to go! Or just get lost. Some are not too bad.
Mazda, Suziki and others at least are open to small talk and don't make you feel like a bum. Even have food and drinks. Heck you may even meet your next best friend there!...read morehide

- Performance, looks, performance, handling... did I mention performance?
- Nose heavy, not so hot fuel economy (average for any comparable V-8 though), hard to drive slow!
Yes, this car pays tribute to the Mustangs of yesteryear; a worthy successor to the original Shelby GT500 and one of the reasons I like it so much. Retro is back with a vengeance! This car never fails to turn heads and earn appreciative looks wherever I go. For those complaining about the styling, well there's no accounting for taste (people pay thousands for Honda Elements; go figure!). Ford took the best of the classics, gave it a fresh look and bumped up the horsepower considerably. The new GT500 is a car in the same league as the Viper and Vette, yet costs thousands less. Not to mention two rear seats as well, something the aforementioned Viper and Vette can't claim. Track tests by professional drivers not withstanding, this car will run with and beat the best (believe me, been there done that!), and yet is still enjoyable as a daily driver. Around town, the GT500 could be considered mild-mannered even, until you jump on the accelerator! Handling is predictable understeer (as expected with the front end weight bias) but easily corrected with the throttle. Yes, it employs a live axle, but people complaining about the ride have never actually been in one I'll wager, as the ride is quite good for a performance car. Would I buy it all over again? Yes! Would I recommend it any another auto enthusiast? Absolutely! Thanks Ford!...read morehide

- Very Fast ! Great powertrain but VERY UGLY
- UGLY They messed it all up with the front lights ! What gives who OKed that
Fast car. Most people who get this car better know how to slide a car well. I sugest taking it out when it's raining , find a large lot and pratice practice pratice controling the back end and keeping in mind that it's not cool looking when your back end does more than one yaw. Remember you look like a joke when you fishtail your car...
bottom line I would love one. I would need to get the stock lights and grill back in it.....9 for fun and poweer 3 for looks makes it a 7.95 what ever .......read morehide

- The car is overall a good and fun car fro the money
- Went to buy one, the dealer experience was horrible, I left, and I'm over the urge
Ford made a good product, enough of a good product with with a level of PR and excitement surrounding the car that got me to arrange financing BEFORE going to the dealership. The car was basically bought in my head. When the I told the dealer what I was there to look at, it was almost as if he said, ooohhhh baby, you are going to pay!!! I was soured at 4k over sticker and left, but the attitude is what did me in most....read morehide
