2009 Ford Shelby GT500 User Reviews

- Bad wheel skip and clutch shudders out of first
Purchased As New
I kept my Shelby for about a year. I loved the power, the cache and all the attention I got. But the car was pure plastic inside and it looked cheap. It was also super low tech. And the more I drove it the more it loosened up and rattled. I also had a clutch die on me in the first 5k miles. It was a recall I was never notified about. It took 2 weeks to replace and it never shifted out of first gear properly without a severe shudder. It also had bad wheel skip. Dealer said that was just the characterisitc of the car. Finally traded it in for an Audi A5. I mourn the Shelby and its 500hp but the fit and finish on the Audi
for the same money simply blows it away.
